Is Dyslexia related to Epilepsy? No. A lot of people are dyslexic who have no history of Epilepsy and a lot of people who are Epileptic are not Dyslexic. They are two unrelated conditions. some people have both, and dyslexia can be caused over time by epilepsy--the seizures decrease the amount of oxygen to the brain, which can damage it. Every once and a while, the area hit will control reading. |
