Bipolar (NOS) -- Dyslexia? |
I was recently diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder (NOS). When I become manic, I don't have a lot of physical agitation but I do tend to become dyslexic. I was wondering if anyone else out there has similar sort of symptoms that go along with their mania. I don't have dyslexia but become dyslexic when I'm going full blown manic. I can read just fine when I'm hypomanic or depressed. wow I am a Diagnosed Dyslexic and have symptoms of being BiPolar, maybe they have somethign to do with each other, all i can say is go get tested to see if you have dyslexia! no ok....? i didnt get the question You're probably in a slightly mixed state hypomania and it's scrambling your brains a little. Been there, done that. It's not true mania (technically, you would be highly agitated physically and/or psychotic), but it includes racing thoughts, speach, etc, and the brain's going too fast to hold on to what you read or take in. Plus there's a bit of agitation, irritability, and "noise" in your head that also makes it hard to retain information or concentrate. Sort of sound like what you experience? |
