Does the dyslexia gene come from the father?

Does the dyslexia gene come from the father?

no it can be from either parent and it was recently found that there was three different genetic links which can be traced through family's ruling out one single gene disorder

What gene? I would have to think it is a problem with thinking because it can be overcome with enough mind conditioning. Just ask Whoopi Goldberg or others who have overcome this condition.

I dont know if this ia a gene or not... but my father is dyslexic, I have 2 , 1/2 sisters and only one of them is dyslexic. I think it must some how run in families but I dont know to what extent. I know when I get tired I tend to switch letters around in words. I get all the right letters in the word.. just in the wrong order.. I wonder sometimes if that is a type of dyslexia.

My father didnt learn to read till he was in his late 40's... an d even at that I guess its was just like 2-3rd grade reading.

good luck, Blessings
