Is typing dyslexia a real diagnosis?

I type pretty well but constantly mis-spell words because I mix up the letters, ie: psell, hte

I HAVE IT ...AND I DO IT ALL THE TIME....LOL... BUT NOT THIS TIME

Don't know if it's a real diagnosis, but I blame my typos on "digital" dyslexia.

So do I, but I go through and make corrections before I submit. Don't worry about dyslexia. It's a diagnosis sometimes overused by bad teachers who don't want to give their students the time and effort necessary to help them succeed. It's more than just a diagnosis: it's a prophecy that this student can never learn to read. And, with that on their record, strangely enough, none of them ever do-- unless they happen on a teacher who doesn't believe in educationese witchcraft.

oh yes I have self diagnosed. It is there I think faster then I type at times it can be funny other times not so. You are not the only one. We should have a support group so when it is not so funny others will understand.

mistyping words is not dyslexia, anyone can mistype, by accident, dyslexia is far more complicated, peoples dyslexia come in all different forms, some can spell perfectly but cant do grammar others can do the opposite. I suffer from dyslexia, and have almost completed a first class hons. degree in archaeology and classical studies, just took me much more effort as i needed to triple check my work before submission, it is very easy in the UK to get support most uni's will provide it and most schools do as well
