How might medieval doctors have treated the following illnesses?

-leprosy
-plague
-fever
-dysentery

thank you ! [:

Plague was supposedly prevented by purifying the air. Doctors used herbs in their nosebags to ward it off (not quite as hatstand as it sounds, as some of the herbs they used are known to have antiseptic properties)

Once you'd got it, they would use bloodletting and I believe they also had round balls filled with herbs they kept under the armpits to treat the plagues. Charms with the magic word "abracadabra" written on them were also common, but probably only effective at increasing the seller's bank balance.

Bloodletting and praying.
