Help dealing with Dysautonomia (dysfunction of autonomic nervous system)?

I was diagnosed with dysautonomia about 5 years ago but ive had it my whole life, doctors jsut didnt know what was wrong. Now I see several doctors and take 4 diff. kinds of meds 4 times a day. I live with the symptoms and its ok, because I dont know what its like to really feel normal, but sometimes i just feel so tired of being sick. I talk to doctors about it but it would really help to hear someone else's voice, and how you cope. I suffer daily from dizziness, high blood pressure, mitral valve prolapse, TMJ, muscle spasms, extreme fatigue, nausea, headaches, and just all over "sick" feeling. It would mean the world to hear from someone else out there, i just feel so alone in this...

Boy, this sounds awful. I'm so sorry for you. Dysautonomia is caused by viral illness, genetic factors, exposure to chemicals, pregnancy, trauma or injury, traumatic emotional experience which damage the autonomic nervous system.

Low levels of magnesium can cause symptoms similar to dysautonomia. One study evaluated 141 people with MVP and dysautonomia and found that 60% had low levels of magnesium in the blood. The 60% were given magnesium supplements for 10 weeks and they showed a significant reduction in dysautonamia symptoms, such as chest pain, palpitations, anxiety, and shortness of breath. To read more about this and other alternative treatments that may help, go to your search bar and type in "alternative treatments for dysautonomia" and scroll down to site #4 "ConsumerLab.com - independent tests of herbal, vitamin, and mineral supplements.

Another thing I would definitely try, and this may sound weird, but I would do a colonix and detox. If your condition was caused by genetics, there is not much that you can do. But, if it is caused by other factors the colonix and detox would certainly help. It's amazing what your body will do to you when it is overloaded with years of exposure to environmental chemical, processed foods, ets. Go to www.dr.natura.com and read their site. This is the product I use and swear by it. I had severe hives which the doctors could do nothing about except to prescribe steroids, which I refuse to take. I began researching hives and was able to somewhat control them with a supplement. I finally decided that my whole system needed a detox and tried Dr. Natura's products. Within 30 days I no longer got the hives and it has now been 3 months and not one single outbreak. I love their product and I continue to take their Detoxigreens which is their multivitamin and find it superior to anything I have ever used. It can't hurt you, and it may suprisingly help you!

I know the feeling of just not feeling normal. I have a 7 year old son and it was sad that his mom could not play with him because she had to stay in bed with hives again and again. I had to do something to change my life and Dr. Nautra's program worked. Please, please, give it a try for your benefit. I can hear in your writing how down you are. I'm really hoping to give you some of your health back! Good Luck!

yeah i have this autonomic dyssfunction too. Don't worry you are not alone in this....
