Orang utans verses Down syndrome?

Have you ever noticed that Orang utans have a look similar to that of Down syndrome person?
Before you all have a go i have a sister that has mystery syndrome and do know full well what its like living with some one with this condition.

I would love to see you try. Really would. Fool

I can sort of see what you mean, if we are a close resembalence to chimpanzees then why can't we have other traits from other primates.

id love it if i knew who you was cause id beat the living **** out of you

you dodo

Your not funny, infact its disgusting!

Well both are equally beautiful but as I've never seen an Orangutan smile (grimace yes, smile no) or a Down's syndrome with jowls, I have to disagree.
Downs children always seem to be smiling and are some of the most delightful people to work with!

Edit > Dr Phibes is that a photo of you as a baby? You haven't changed much!

I'm not the only one who thought that then... I know what you mean, like this for example -

Not being bad or nasty, just agreeing with the questioner on a fact...

No I have not noticed any resemblence between humans with Downs Syndrome and Orang Utans, beside the fact that they also have two eyes and a nose and a mouth which a lot of animals have.

No offence to humans intended. Just cant see any link.

I have never thought about it but you are right. Perhaps there is some link farther back in our ancestry.
As downs syndrome can occur without any known reason perhaps we are all carriers of this gene and every so often there are throwbacks?
Interesting.

That's not at all nice.Orangutans are beautiful.
