Dizziness and Vertigo attack when waking up. Can you help me?

This morning I opened my eyes (still lying on the bed) I suddenly felt a horrible attack of dizziness and vertigo. The room was spinning around, and I felt like my head is going to explode because of the pressure I felt in my head. I sat up, but it did not go away, I wasn't able to focus my eyes or do any motion, I thought I was gonna die. The attack lasted for a minute or so, then it was a bit better, but the vertigo was still there. This happened before, without any solid cause I could think of. Usually the vertigo lasts for 1-2 or even 3 days then goes away completely.
I can't think of a cause. It's not low BP, because I was still lying on my bed. The vertigo is not worse when moving around. It's worse when closing my eyes for longer periods and even sleeping again right after the attack, because when waking up another attack happens. I searched around the internet, but haven't found any answer. No head or neck trauma. No migrane (though I feel increased pressure in my skull). Help?

Your symptons seem familar, do your ever suffer ringing in your ears?

do you feel a little dizzy if you turn your head sharpley from one side to the other?

I have low blood pressure the art is to get up slowly like you would imaging the queen wouls

Also i have Menieres disease

try searching menieres

Meniere disease, also called idiopathic endolymphatic hydrops, is a disorder of the inner ear. Although the cause of Meniere disease is unknown, it probably results from an abnormality in the way fluid of the inner ear is regulated. In most cases only one ear is involved, but both ears may be affected in about 15% of patients. Meniere disease typically starts between the ages of 20 and 50 years of age. Men and women are equally affected. The symptoms may be only a minor nuisance, or can become disabling, especially if the attacks of vertigo are severe, frequent, and occur without warning.

Go get a CAT scan, could be something very serious maby a clot or even a brain tummer, get one today!!!

Could it be a transient ischemic attack? (TIA)

This is a complete shot in the dark, but what about low blood sugar? I know that if I let myself go without food, I can get dizzy.

It could easily be something benign, like ear trouble, so don't panic just yet. However, I think a trip to your GP would be in order, sooner rather than later.

you should go to your Dr. ASAP.

Could be TIA attack, stroke, tumor, meniere's, inner ear problem... Please go to a doctor to get it sorted out, preferably a specialist.

go see a dr last time i had that it was a tia (mini stroke)
if you want to find out more look here.

Sounds like Meniere's Disease, Labyrinthitis or similar inner ear problems. Google them, get to your doctors.

Try to go see an ENT doctor, ear nose and throat specialist. It sounds like and inner ear problem. ENT doctors deal with alot of patient s with problems similiar to yours. Or it may be allergies, believe it of not. Good Luck!!!!

Go see the doctor or go to the hospital a s a p.
