Could this be vertigo or worse.? |
Ive been sick for weeks. Its happened all of a sudden.I was dizzy and weak at first couldnt get out of a bed for about 1 week. Then i seemed a little better but it happened again but not as bad.I now have indigestion rumbling in the stomach tightness in my legs cold feet loss of balance swollen glands and a diffrent kind of dizziness.i also have muscle twitches and weird sensation in my hands. All my bloods came back clear and a chest xray.doctors said it was nothing to worry about but now i really dont know what to think.sorry 4 going on but im a young man in my twentys who use to enjoy his life. The private hospital below may give a second opinion- vertigo means nothing more than the feeling of spinning... so i'll tell you it's worse... eat more often... have them check your heart... i went through the same thing. Have your ears been checked? It certainly sounds like an inner ear infection, and I am deducing that you are mistaking swollen glands for what really is inflamation of the inner ear. I suffer from similar symptoms and have done for quite a while. I have had every test under the sun including MRI brain scan. A consultant neurologist finally diagnosed anxiety which I strongly opposed but he prescribed anti-depressants - short term and all the symptoms have disappeared. Perhaps he was right - food for thought! I have just recovered from a bout of vertigo which was diagnosed as an inner ear infection. When you lay down or bend down the room spins round 3 or 4 times. My doctors advice was don't bend down. I just ignored the symptoms and it eventually stopped. Your doctor is probably right but if it dose not get any better ask to see a specialist If it is a virus as mine was then antibiotics are ineffective but it will eventually go Vertigo gives you the feeling that everything is spinning around. It can make you nauseated, As you can guess from the name I've chosen for myself, I had the same problem. All my test results came back clear. I had much the same symptoms as you. After a while the vertigo changes to a different kind of dizziness - more a muzziness with pressure in the head. I also had severe indigestion, a tightness in the legs which changed to pain after a time. I had muscle twitches too, but no swollen glands. |
