If your wife has metal probs, and wants to divorce you for no real reason what can you to help her and saveit? |
she has scysophrenia dn has developed a new persana that is scaring everone in our family. one day she wants to work out our probs, and the next she wants a divorce. i love her more then anything in this world and cant loose her to this illness. please help in anyway, what can i do to help my wife save our merrage and her mind.we also have a 9 month old son who needs us both. what can i do? she has put a restraining order on my by telling the court i am abusive when i am almost never home because of school.i cant help myself what can i do? You have your hands full. Did this happen after she had the baby? Thanks! :) Report It I think your probably going to have to get divorced, otherwise she is going to drive you crazy forever... is she on meds?? if not she needs to be...if she is she may need her meds changed. check with your doctor its great that you want to hang in there & work things out Stand by her side and just be there for her, also for yourself try couseling to learn how to cope with these problems so maybe you can save your marriage naicin heals schizophrenia.get a book by Abram Hoffer.i think it is called how to successfully live with schizophrenia.I also think u should find a support group for yourself and your wife .good luck.take care of yourself:-D well your in a no win situation it seems unless she can get better. if not the disease will get worse and so will her mind, i hate saying these things, like you don't have enough to worry about already. but you probably should try to find her a good medical treatment center for her to live at that would also treat her condition ,and you and your son try to make it without her. First thing, I think it is so great that you care that much to help your wife. I commend you for that. Next, try to get her hospitalized until they get her stable. Make sure she takes her medicine. We have a psychiatric hospital and I am sure you have one where you live. But please take in mind, that this is a very dangerous illness. It may endanger your child. So keep careful watch of him/her. Try not to leave her with him/her alone. I know your wife loves your child very much, but if she has Schizophrenia, she just can't help it. This illness is nothing to play with. Try going to therapy with her when she gets out of the hospital. Do you notice a change in her when she doesn't take her medicine? Learn everything you can about Schziophrenia and what to look for. Hopefully, when she gets stable, she will be happier and will not want a divorce. I am sure that the Schizophrenia has a lot to do with her wanting a divorce. maybe she realizes what she is doing and can't control it and doesn't want you to have to go through it. I hope I have been some help. Good Luck! Check out hospitals and see where you can get her and your self some help and as soon as possible. This a serious problem. She doesn't know what she is dealing with right now, it may take years, but the proper medication will help. I don't know where you live but I hope you research this thoroughly and get the help that is so desperately needed. I will be praying for you all. Warmest wishes to you!!!! Save your marriage, it is worth fighting for. I do understand more about this than you might think I do. Also at this point of this mental illness, she really doesn't know what she wants right now or needs but she really desperately needs you to help her. Best wishes to you.... Fight her you shouldnt have a problem trying to convince court that she is mentally impaired. You should have no problem winning this case as long as CPS says you are not a danger to your child. When you live with crazy people you go crazy. Doesn't she have a doctor monitoring all of this? If not get one. If she does consult her doctor. In the meantime feed her a lot so that she does not speak as much. GET HER SOME REAL HELP, NOT JUST A REGULAR DR. A SPECIALIST WHO KNOWS ABOUT YOUR WIFES TYPE OF SITUATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! call an attorney, they are very affordable I am so sorry you are going through this. But if she refuses to take meds or get any help I don't see what else you can do. get her help and if she does not want it get a divorce That is very sad, I am sorry for your pain. Unfortunately, it takes two to make a marriage work, and if she is uncooperative about treatment, it's going to be nearly impossible to save her or the relationship. It sounds like she needs to be hospitalized, and certainly medicated. Keep trying to make her get help. Bless your heart, I really feel for you and wish you the best. Is the baby safe? If she is a threat to herself or others a protective custody order can be issued and she would be put into a mental institution for up to 3 days for evaluation and released if all is well. Drastic yes. It's just an idea. Talk to her parents. Relax. Sit down, put your emotions aside and think. May everything work out; they always do honestly u can make an appointment with a marriage counciller at the comfort of ur own house with out even tellin her. than she will have to sit and talk she will have no choice......go on from there dependin on what the advice is but atleast u'll have d help of sumone professional |
