Is lateral release helpul for knee dislocations? |
I am 24 years old went I was 13 I started feeling my knee go out and back by itself but it was not series as I could walk normal after 1 day after at 14 I have it full dislocated after that I continue having this problem every time easily (never full dislocated but some time I couldn鈥檛 walk for month sometime for a week) I strength my thigh muscles and it continued to happened but for a reason am doing wrestling now I had the problem again I went to the doctor he said the patella groove is not deep (most people have deeper groove but am better than other cases) so he want to do lateral release surgery to make the patella sit properly within its groove... did anyone have the same problem and had the surgery and what was the result. Thank you for asking us at Yahoo but I would suggest you to consult an orthopaedic doctor. |
