Dislocation help?

I dislocated 2 of my fingers 3 weeks ago i also have ligamant damage. My fingers do not see to be healing quick enough.....would cod liver oil speed up the process as i know this is ment to be good for bones?

Or are there any other potions that i could use?

Hi vicki

already been to hospital, they popped them back in,i start my phisio tomorrow but i need to gets these fingers sorted as i`m off snowboarding in jan 2007.

Hi well you said that you have already had both this manipulated bck in to place,ligaments,fratures,dislocations,et... all take a long time to get bck to normal again,as when you have torn the ligaments you have to remember you are disturbing all the muscles etc round the finger too,so all these have to get bck to normal as well.Yes god liver oil is good, also including plenty off diary in your diet as you need alot off calcium too this makes the bones stronger.Part from this theres not alot really can help the healing process, just do what the Dr says and you will be ok.Also Physio will help alot to to strenghen the bone and ligaments, but you need to ask about Snowboarding in Jan,as you must remember this injury you have can make the area very weak now,so theres always possibility off the same injury happening again.Just take it easy.Good Luck

i dont know about your fingers but my brother dislocated his shoulder playing rugby. he was in so much pain for ages and had to just put up with it. he has to have an operation soon for it towards the middle of december thats the only thing i can tell you. go to the hosp see what they say.
