Knee dislocation....?

i apparently had hrut my mpfl medial patellofemoral ligament. but my doc says it should heal without surgery.

how long will it take to heal?
once its healed when can i probably return to my sports?

thanks.

When you hurt the knee it will continue to bother you forever at times. I had the same problem as you, but later needed two orthoscopic surgeries. After 15 years, I still get pain there occasionally, especially if I don't walk enough.
