Question About Shoudler Dislocation? |
i dislocated my shoulder yesteday but went to the hospital and got it back in place. If u put a small amount of pressure of it by playing guitar for 2 hrs..can it like..get dislocated again..or will any damadge occur ?? I think you should have a complete rest for a few days for the Shoulder joints are pretty strong - you wouldn't dislocate it again but I'd imagine it would be very sore. You should be careful a rest for a few days. no I think not ..any stress such as pulling or lifting can dislocate your shoulder and I don't think any harm can be caused by playing a guitar if in doubt call hospital and ask !! IT REALLY DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH PRESSURE YOU PUT ON YOUR SHOULDER. I am a woman, and yes I dislocated my shoulder...my husband put it back in place, then I went to the doctors. I did this like 4 years ago, and every once in awhile it still hurts. Playing the guitar should be fine, just take it slow. Don't do too much, too soon. Did they suggest physical therapy? That helped me a little. But mostly don't push yourself too hard, or too fast since it is a newer injury. Take care. |
