Shaving disaster. HELP ME?

oKAY, so my boyfriend is comming in from missouri the day after christmas, we are going to do SOME stuff but not much, needless to say hes excitd because i havent done ANYTHING with him and weve been dating 7 months. WELL i just got the bright idea to shave. And now i have a horrid shave rash, its itchy irritated and soo uncomfortable, not to mention i cant get the tiny pickley stubbles to come off. HELP@ how can i clear this up fast, and how do i get the hair COMPLETEly gone, (by the way its on my vagina) LOL. help me ladies...

the first shave is always the worst, it gets better and easier as time goes on, if you have some vitamin e cream or a gentle moisturiser that's unscented rub some of that on and dont shave again till the razor rash has healed. It's not a disaster, I'm sure your boyfriend is going to see the loving intent, though he might have to be gentle, for his sake too.

buy some tend skin from wal mart. works to sooth it

why do you take on such a conforming attitude to what you think your bf will like best, despite the bad effect it has on yourself?

Would you think it is attractive if your boyfriend shaved his balls because he thought you might like it better and he would put up with the rashes and itches just for you?

That's not very self-respecting is it? And it is actually self-respect that will make you more desirable.

Therefore you now better keep the hair on your body growing where it wants to.

I don't have much advice about what to do against the rashes and itchiness. Maybe a natural cream to soothe the rashes may help.

OK, shave rash I know about, I get it most of the times when i shave my throat under the jaw.. Most of the men's shave gels are a mix of moisturizers and just a hint of antiseptic, so I'll assume that a good moisturizer and a diluted antiseptic like witch hazel will help.

The tiny prickly stubble usually means you need a second or third pass with a sharper razor. Those get left behind especially when the razor is gummed up with too much shaving soap. A man's shaving disposable is usually sharper it seems, you could use one of those, or the old stand by Nair.

I hope this helps!

Put something cooling and soothing on the painful area. The BEST way to get rid of all hair, and without being prickly is to use a hair removal cream like nair or immac.

But remember, if he is so excited he will hardly notice the finer details!

First off, don't worry so much about getting all the hair... that will come with practice... and not even all the time then... that is a very difficult area to shave... secondly, the rash will pass in a couple days, some moisturizing lotion should help... if you want it gone fast, you could try some hydrocortisone... but only on the outside... never on the inside... be very careful... and next time, use a sharper razor... or even better, a triple blade... and some shave lotion to make it easier on your skin... just make sure to rinse clean afterwards... and moisturize moisturize moisturize... and ALWAYS use a fresh razor...
