Smoothie Disaster? |
Im trying to eat healthier foods. I love smoothies but i have barely and good stuff in my house to make it. I need a easy way to make it. So you don't have to worry about spoilage, grab some frozen fruits. You can peel and freeze bananas, and just about any berry. My favorites are banana/blueberry and pineapple/raspberry. Just drop some (vanilla) yogurt, ice, and the fruit into a blender and voila. hmm just use fruit like strawberries or bananas or mango pretty much anything really and ice and some sort of liquid like water, milk, soymilk, oh and you can also use some kind of yogurt. the yogurt makes it more delicious =] You can find a wide variety of easy Healthy Smoothie recipes at http://fruitsmoothierecipe.bravehost.com - they're great ENJOY I use light yogurt or fat free. Even frozen yogurt works great with fresh fruit or frozen. I check out Kraft.com for good recipes. We use any fruit on-hand, ice cubes, and fat free milk along with some sugar-free sweetner, thow all in a blender until shake consistency......viola! smoothie! Watermelon is a great fruit for this, as well as whatever other fruit is in season or on-hand at time. We've used pears, apples, strawberries, pineapple, peaches, cantelopes, and others....canned or fresh will work i would do....blueberrys, strawberrys, yogurt (any flavor), orange juice, and ice...and if you want add some protein powder into the mix, i would get vanilla flavor because it doesnt taste like anything and just blends in wiht everything else |
