What would you do to extend immediate relief during disaster management?

it is a situation in which a disaster has occured in your area

Arrange help for the victims and ensure their is no panic by consoling and counselling the ones who are facing the disaster.

I would access the injured and treat accordingly. Those that would benefit the most from immediate care. In other words if the injuries are not life threatening they would be "assured" help will be there as soon as possible, those who are the most severely injured and require more then I can provide in the field would be "made comfortable" - those in the "middle" would be treated as best they could in the field.

ask what should be done?take classes in advance

talk to the people to find out what they need. so many times you hear them say that it was nice that the people did this, but what they should of done is that. talk to them. they know how they are feeling and what could be done to better help them

no idea of this question

1. First of all, understand the situation and see how big it is. That is, how many people are affected by it, and the size of the area it covers.

2. Inform all the Emergency Services in the area about the disaster, the size of the disaster, the number of people involved, etc. to the Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Medical Services, Hospitals, etc.

3. Inform your friends, relatives and acquaintances living far away from the the disaster area about the disaster, and tell them to inform more people about it so as to get more help as well as Blood Donors of different blood groups to donate blood to the injured.

4. Prepare a list of Blood Donors within your family, friends, neighbours, relatives, etc. in your immediate neighbourhood, whose Blood Groups you know of, so that you can immediately get them to donate blood to the injured before other help arrives.

5. Rush to the site of the disaster and try to personally rescue as many persons as you can while taking care not to physically move the seriously injured till medical help arrives.

6. If you know of any First Aid procedures, give it to those not seriously injured.

7. Help the injured rehabilitate to places away from the disaster site.

8. Help salvage the belongings of the injured and keep them in your safe custody, labelling each bunch separately, so as to be able to correctly return them to their owners later on.

9. Provide clean drinking water and food to the affected people who have become homeless, because this is their urgent necessity.

10. Accommodate as many elderly people, very young children, or others needing immediate shelter like pregnant ladies, in your home and the homes of people you know.
