Opinion on prescription drugs? |
Who do you think would be more reliable on information about prescription drugs.?.........Your Doctor ,your pharmacist or the manufactures directives A pharmacist for sure. Not all doctors know about the wide variety of drugs. For example, would a neurologist have lots of knowledge about prescription drugs that aid in urination? Maybe, but it won't be as helpful as a primary care physican or pharmacist. That example can also be used for drug manufacturers. Always talk with your Doc first about meds... and drug interactions if on other meds and make sure he/ she takes the time to explain the med... ask questions, come prepared with a list of basic Q's and list of current meds.and make sure they are answered by Doc or a least on of the nurses... let them know if you experience any side effects ASAP!
