Can I drink alcohol after having tetnus, polio, diphtheria and yellowfever vaccinations?

thanks for your answers, only asked as it's my birthday the day I'm having them done and was planning on celebrating with a few beers.

You can, but I wouldn't over do it. Some people have allergic reactions to the vaccinations, or mild flu like symptoms. Dehydrating your body with alcohol will only increase the changes of feeling sick. A glass of wine or a beer would be fine, but a binge will probably leave you really regretting it later.

And if that first poster is a doctor, I'm a walrus!

You might as well... You just let them put a bunch of garbage into your body you really didnt need anyways... You'll be dead in 6 months anyways..... sip sip.. drink up

IF I'D GOTTEN ALL OF THOSE SHOTS, I'D HAVE BEEN DRINKING BEFORE HAND. HELL. THE HARD PART'S OVER NOW. WHAT'D BE THE POINT OF STARTING NOW?

give it a friggin day or 2.sheesh,

There are no contraindications but why would you want or need to?

its only thursday hun y not wait till the weekend just to be sure!! :-)

Yes you can, but dont get drunk.
