At whhat age do you have the following vacinations in the uk?

> Hepatitis B
> Rubella
> BCG
> Typhoid
> Tetanus
> Polio
> Diphtheria

filling out a form and know i have had them all, just unsure when?

You have BCG at around 14 (or used to, they've stopped it now)
polio and diphtheria as a baby rubella only to girls at around 12 ish but now part of the MMR routine. depends how old you are. don't know about the others. Hope it helps

i know rubella and bcg are done in high school
poilo is part of vaccinations u have done as baby, under 2

not sure about rest

hepatitis B isn't given at all unless you work in a hospital/prison or where you are likely to be bitten, scratched ect.
rubella at about 11years old girls only
BCG at about 11
Typhoid not normally given
the rest are done all together in 3 stages beginning at 6 weeks of age.

hep B has never been routinely done in uk, however in some parts they are doing it. my daughter had baby in birmingham last year he had it. its given at birth. my children were born abroad and had it. typhoid i think is only done if u need it ie travelling to area where vaccination is required and i dont think it lasts that long usually done with cholera. Tetananus polio diptheria are the triple injections given 3 times during first year then i think u get boosters pre school and teenage years. BCG and rubella are done early teens.

There is a very good site for this kind of info:

Oh, btw, hep B IS given for certain ethic backgrounds where it is endemic. Usually asap after birth.
