I need some info on either new diseases involving the GI tract or new treatments for diseases involving the GI tract. Some please help

There are no new diseases and conditions but there are some improved treatments and procedures. It would be lengthy and time consuming to list here everything you wish to know. Stomach ulcers are caused by H. Pylori. Both Stomach ulcers and Ulcerative Colitis are being cured by acupuncture now. This is something that is being rewarded a bit of attention in the scientific community, though research is extremely deficient.

the new fad is IBS irritable bowel syndrome.

I have chrons disease & colitis. diverticulitis is another that is also very painful I know mostly they give u pain pills for flare ups which r hard for gi tract.
