I need help on this science question!?

How does the skin, digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system and immune system fights diseases?

WOW, That is a big question. Books have been written about it and you want a short answer from yahoo answers? I'll give it my best shot.

Skin - It is a barrier, it keeps bacteria from penetrating the body.

Digestive system - The stomach's acidity kills 99% of bacteria.

Repiratory system - Mucous lining the resp system serves as a barier, bacteria get trapped and the mucous is slowly moved to the GI system.

Circulation - It circulates white blood cells throughout the body, so they can fight infection.

Immune system - Its whole job is to fight invading bacteria. (see physiology textbook for more info)

That's 4 questions. You only get one. Ask them seperately for better response like how does digestive system help fight diseases. The site below will tell you how they work with fighting viruses.

you are a lazy student, your teacher gave you this assignment so you can learn and study for yourself!

you will not grow if yu don't know how to study for yourself!
