Soy and Kashi Products are Deadly? |
According to this site, soy products are extremely unhealthy and detrimental to the human body. Kashi Cereals contain soy protein concentrate. Soy causes "malnutrition, digestive distress, immune-system breakdown, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive disorders and infertility--even cancer and heart disease. " No Manda, soy is NOT healthy for you. Soy is unhealthy. Fermented soy in small amounts is OK like Miso, temphe and soy sauce. But soy protein, soy milk, tofu, in large amounts are bad for your health. More and more studies are proving this. See http://www.soyonlineservice.co.nz/ Honestly, I don't believe it. Soy is VERY healthy for you, especially since I'm a vegetarian, I drink it every day in smoothies and cereals. I don't believe it either......... I eat a ton of soy products, the I think that for the most part Kashi products are healthy, but I also know that large consumption of soy products can affect thyroid function. When I was having thyroid problems they asked me whether I ate a lot of soy products, since they can contribute to thyroid dysfunction. I think its all about moderation though. |
