Could anyone please help me.. I have to analyze my diet and determine what is good about my diet. But i have to make a two page report. The only thing I got was a half of a page. Could anyone help me just telling things thats good about a good a healthy diet?? Try adding something about the 'exercise' you get, and how that along with your diet 'makes you feel good' with EXACT THINGS ... you feel more 'energetic' and you are not 'sleepy in the middle of the day', etc. You could also 'list' the way your 'new proteins' are BETTER for you than the way the 'old ones' were ... and go down the 'list' ... you eat more vegies, but WHICH ONES, and more fruit but which ones. Why is eating WHOLE GRAINS better for you than eating 'refined grains'? You have a 'great start' but you need to make a 'two page report' so just 'expand' on the things that you've said so far ... with a 'paragraph' for each one you'll fill your 'two pages' easily. GOOD LUCK! That was all you wrote? You need to break it down more and talk about how many serving sizes you are actually eating. Plus, if you could analyze the nutritional value of your diet, for example, consuming dairy products will help maintain regular calcium for strong bones and teeth. Eating fiber will help maintain a healthy digestive tract. Eating dark, green vegetables may help reduce the risk of certain cancers. Also, compare foods that are healthy. For example, oranges and red peppers are very healthy but did you know that red peppers have more vitamin c. I think people will be interested to know what is going into their bodies if you break it down a little more. It's also important to discuss calorie intake and level of activity. You could talk about the average calorie intake for men and women, and focus on specific nutritional needs, for example, pregnant women need more folic acid. Athletes need more protein etc... Of course, focus on your own diet, but you could use this as examples if you wanted to explain certain nutrients in more detail.. Also, one of the main points you want to get across is how you are eating a healthy diet to maintain your health even as you get older. You are what you eat. If you eat nothing but junk, you will feel lazy, have unhealthy skin, get fat, be moody etc etc. Go to Shape magazine.com and fitness magazine .com for info...great stuff. |
