Dieting...........?

What kind of food do I eat daily to reduce weight?

Eat lots of green leafy vegitables . Avoid oil , and sugar . You may eat boiled vegitables for somedays . Take fruit juice .
But dieting alone is not good . You can control your diet with mild exercise , this is the best way to loose weight , without harming the metabolism of our body .

low calorie food with balanced diet.

Take the example of your bank passbook. More you deposit and less you withdraw or more you withdraw and less you deposit. Once you reach the desired balance, maintain it.

low calorie,fat free...salad,fruits,juice,& green vegetables...dance atleast once a day...

First stay away from refined sugars or carbohydrates. Reason being, your body breaks these down faster, and faster your body breaks these down the faster your body will decide to store the energy as fat. Moreover, your body will be able to use complex carbohydrates a lot longer, and as a result you will feel more energy throughout the day.

Complexed carbohydrates can be found in the form of whole grains and fruits. So stay away from sugary pops, coffees, foods. Also if you like juice, stay away from juices that have "high fuctose corn syrup" as a added ingredient.

This goes along with how processed foods are too. Even between white rice and brown rice. White rice is essentially processed brown rice. Where the outside covering of the rice is removed. The more processed a food is the faster your body will be able to convert it to energy. If you stay away from more processed food and refined sugars, you body will be able to sustain a more constaint "blood glucose level" and will avoid undesirable blood sugar spikes. Which also means your body will be more efficient in using the energy from your foods, instead of storing it as fat.

Also when the energy used (like through exercise, or keeping your metabolism up through both small meals and exercise) is greater than energy consumed (through food) you will then see weight loss. But don't be alarmed if your weight doesn't constantly fall. Muscle weights more than fat, water weights alot, and your body will be trying to keep up with your awsome new lifestyle. So there will be lulls in weight loss, but the main thing is stay compliant and get 8 good hours of rest. Rest is also a key to a successful weight loss program.

One more thing from a previous comment. It will be essentially impossible to stay away from oil, oil can be found in even natural things such as nuts. Of which have exellent oils mono, and even better polyunsaturated fats, and fish have exellent omege-3, and flax seed has also omega-6. Yes fats add up the calorie count pretty fast, but good unsaturated fats actually help remove unwanted Low Density Lipids, and cholesterol from your system. As a result you will become healther with these types of fats. No don't go buy these supplements from your health food store, instead try to get these from foods.

As with salt, yes salt makes you retain fluids, but the concern here isn't making you weigh more. "water" won't make you "overweight", yes it will make you weigh more but it won't make you "overweight". Salt will make you retain more water, the more fluid you have in you system, the more fluid your heart has to pump. The more fluid your heart has to pump the higher your blood pressure. Over time this increased workload on your heart will increase your chances of getting heart disease. Refraining from too much salt is just apart of a healthy diet. Water weight is different from fat weight. You can lose water weight by drinking diuretics (things that make you urinate) such as caffiene and alcohol. But this will last as long as you stay dehydrated. But this isn't what you really want to lose, it is fat, not water.

Good Luck!!!!

The reason you are Overweight because you are not eating proper food. The problem with our diet is that we get too many calories, fat, sugar and salt. On the other hand we get too little of the things we need, like, vitamins, minerals, fiber and water. not only do we get overweight but put ourselves at risk for many health problems. hi jasmine,
Eat low calorie diet but with sufficient protein...sleep early and wake up early....if u have constipation or difficulty in defaecating then before going to loo drink 2 glasses of warm water and u will be able to empty ur bowels....now u can go for a walk or mild exercises...and then as a break fast u can have an apple OR small cup of papaya fruit OR any kind of fruit....and have a glass of toned or diet or soya milk...around 11 to 1 u can have a fruit again....and for lunch if u want to strictly follow fruit diet u can have 2 to 3 varieties of fruit....or if u want to eat a regular meal go for 2 phulkas+2 varieties of veg curries+buttermilk OR 1 cup rice+2 curries+buttermilk.....and in evening u can have vegetable salad....and for the dinner u eat only fruits...ALWAYS DRINK 2-3 lt OF WATER IN 24 HOURS....u opt to eat lots of oranges,papaya,apple,pomegranate,pineapp... drink honey+lemon water at least 4 times a day....drink barley water at least 2 times a day it'll remove water from ur body and remember to eat less salt...as salt retains the water in ur body thereby making u overweight...so eat as much as less salt....i wud suggest u to take up fruit diet....u have to eat 1kg=1000gm of fruits per day[depends how u distribute them throughout the whole day] if on fruit diet....and if u r a non-veg....u hve to stay away from red meat till u attain ur desired weight...i wud suggest u to stay away from non-veg till u reach ur goal....but if u insist..u can eat chicken grilled and fish grilled once a week....if u follow all these with regular physical activity u'll surely reduce weight no doubt....LEARN AND PRACTICE YOGA if possible....ok then best of luck!
