Dieting without results!?


I can't take it. I have been dieting and working out since beginning of the year and had lost 7 - 9 lbs. Then, I get sick, not eating so well for the last few days and no workouts...now I have gained 5 lbs. I am on a high protein, Cinch shake by Shaklee diet. There has to be an easirerr way with quicker results. What is the point if the moment I go off I gain over half of the weight back. HELP!!!!!

what may work for one person will not necessarily work for you!

regardless of the claims that the Shaklee Cinch diet can show, it's not the diet for everybody!

I remember reading Dr Berger's immune power diet book. he explains that some foods are good for some people and others are not!!!!

Eat what your ancestors ate (assuming they weren't overweight), or test yourself! see what you can and cannot eat!

Again, no diet works for everybody! For me it's fish and chicken, lots of rice. bread, cakes and pasta pack on the pounds!

The weight could very easily be water retention from when you were sick. (That would be my guess)

Don't let it get you down, you can do it.

If you've been on a sensible diet and are working out regularly then it shouldn't be a problem to get the few pounds you've recently gained to go away.

Are you following the Cinch plan as directed? I was on the plan for three weeks and lost 10 lbs., 4 1/2 inches from my waistline and 2 1/4 inches from my hips and lost from other parts of my body as well with very little exercise and I haven't gained any back.
