Does dieting and exercise really work? |
Dieting doesn't work because I can't stick with a diet for my whole life. Soo when I stop I end up putting the weight back on. If you build healthy eating and exercise into your life it will eventually become an enjoyable part of your lifestyle especially when you notice all of the positive effects on your body. :oD Yes! it does work. But it NEEDS TIME. Speak for yourself. Go get or read the book The Diet For Teenagers Only. It explains everything you need to know in easy to understand terms. Also exercise is not boring if you do things like roller skating, dancing, swimming and riding a bike, hula hoop, and other fun things. This book will tell you all of that though. It has to be a lifestyle change for it to continue to work. You cant diet and exercise for 1 month, than eat everything in sight and lay around all day and expect it to work. It has to be a continuous ongoing thing. i know its so hard...try to not think of it as a diet...if you really want to look and feel better then sometimes you will decide what is worth it and what is not...last night i said no to a peanut butter whoopie pie...it just wasn't worth the calories and the fat to me...walking is great stress relief and it burns calories too...once you see some results you won't want to go backwards... well, maybe you can't but it works for me :D. The two work together. When you find yourself not sticking to your plan of dieting and exercise just keep going on and you will find yourself staying with it. Good Luck! yes it will work more if you go to your bf daily at night and have fun withhim, daily then you shall find more healthy things ..............because may u have time for that to go to him. yes, they work...there are millions that can attest to that. |

The food splurging this week is definitely caused by her impending period, and water weight is the same. Tomorrow give her a beverage with a good dose of caf... Well, anorexic people are on a extreme diet. They limit themselves to absolutely no nutrition, exercise with extreme ferocity, take laxatives, and have extreme stress (not necessarily mentally but ... If you drink regular soda, stop. You can lose a lot from that alone. Try to stay away from diet sodas as they are terriible for you and have lots of sodium. Instead, drink plenty of water. Eat frui... |
