Dietary supplement Rx use "mEg" standard. Why don't food supplements use that same standard for comps? |
For example, a perscription potassium chloride supplement shows its 15 ml dosage as having 20 mEg of potassium, whereas a leading dietary supplement says only that its daily dosage (one capsule) has 99 mg of potassium (as a amino acid chelate). How to compare? thanks for the points!! |
