Precribe medicine & dietary supplements do they mix?

I'm Taking Norvasc for high blood pressure and just started taking a dietary supplement I got from GNC and I'm feeling kind of wierd kind of jittery heart beats feels wierd at times whats going on with me?

There might be some kind of stimulant in the supplement.... I wouldn't take them together until you ask your doctor or pharmacist. In fact, look in the phone book for a 24 hour pharmacy and ask them the same question and tell them what the label says is in the GNC supplement, it's possible they interact.

It's important if you're on medications that you don't take any new herbal or nutritional supplements without checking with a medical professionalk first, there are lots of natural things that interact with modern meds, but pharmacies don't include mose of them in their review methods because it's impossible to keep track of all of them and they aren't regulated by the FDA.

So yeah, call the pharmacist.
