My stomach seems a bit distended recently even though my weight has stayed the same. The only dietary changes I have had recently are related to my addiction to chinese food with sticky rice. Could the white rice be the culprit? Or is it the sodium? Or both? I love Chinese also but it is very high in sodium which definitely can retain fluid and make you feel bloated. White rice although not high in sodium is a simple carbohydrate. I love the rice too, but brown rice is better for you.
I love all the fattening stuff ( General Tso's chicken which is fried, but oh so good. |
