Does consuming too much dietary fiber affect the effectiveness of birth control pills? |
I feel like this is a silly question but I need to be sure. I consume typically 60g of fiber a day (what can I say, I love Fiber One too much). I've heard that it may hinder in the absorption of vitamins unless you drink a lot of water with that, Does the same thing hold true for birth control pills? I'm not on the pill now but will be on it soon. Your safe with the fiber! Certain medications hinder the absorption of BC, but fiber is not one of them. It should not have any negative effect on you taking birth control pills. |
