Whats the difference between dietary fiber and soluble fiber?

and which is better for you? or which one do you want the most of?

Dietary fiber is fiber that you would get in fruits and grains and also in a product you'd get called Metamucil for instance. This is a fiber that does not dissolve in the body. But ends up forming bulk in your waste in assisting it to pass through your system. Soluble fiber on the other hand is broken down and absorbed in the body and is useless as an aid to combat constipation. If you have any other questions concerning constipation feel free to email me.
