What is dietary fiber? |
Is it good for you? the more the better? Yes too much can be bad for you, end up constipated. The concept is that instead of having 'white' bread in a lunchtime sandwich you have 'brown hi fiber bread'. Instead of having fries, you have a jacket potato and eat the skin. Instead of having cereal for breakfast, you eat bran flakes, or bran. Dietary fiber is good for you. There IS such a thing as "too much of a good thing". |
