What are the advantages and disadvantages of trans fats?


How can they play a part in reaching the American Heart Associatins recommendations for fat intake? or the dietary guidelines?

there are no advantages to trans fatty acids in the diet. the chemical structure of them is what causes them to be harmful to our bodies. when aligned with other fatty acids to construct cell membranes imperfections are the results. this makes the cells more susceptible to virus, infections, etc.
