Are Slim Fast Meal Replacement Bars ok for breakfast?

I am a student and I have 8:00 classes, so I have no time to make breakfast. Is it ok to get Slim Fast Optiima bars for breakfast or will they make me fat? They have 220 calories, 5g of fat, and 3g dietary fiber. Thanks!

Yah but trying grabbing a piece of fruit or fresh squezed juice (no sugar kind) of some kind of fruit to take with you. Because breakfast is the MOST important meal of the day and it is suppose to be like 500 calories so it keeps you going. Dont forget to snack regularly throughout the day and eat lunch and dinner with lots of water through the day!
God Bless

Stop killing yourself with crappy meals. You need a real breakfast in the morning. Try this link and see if it helps you.

Good luck!

They are totally fine and I do the same thing. I go through about 2 bars a day, 2 Slim Fast shakes, 3 other snacks ranging from fruit to granola bars, and 2 normal meals.
I am a powerlifter but I dont have the typical gut that most of them have and its from eating many small meals.

It should be fine as long as your caloric intake is close to what your body needs. MOST of the people that lose weight actually eat the first thing in the morning. The bars should be fine, just remember to eat at least a 3 to 4 hours later. Key is to eat in small divided doses. That is what keeps your metabolism high. Eating 6 times a day with 2000 calories total is much better than eating 2 times a day with 2000 calories.

Just remember they are loaded with sugar, it fills you up but I try a nutritious breakfast. Eat some real food, egg whites and fruit. I understand I am the same way but if I am on the go I usually grab and apple and handful of nuts, until I hid my mid morning snack. They won't make you fat unless you are exercising and restricting calories. No food is bad or makes you fat its all about portion control. I lost 25 pounds not by what diet I ate but by exercising, counting calories and portioning my food and I kept the weight off for 3 years so far.
Good luck!
