Diarrhea & other symptoms...what do i have?

could this be a stomach virus, or something else?

my symptoms:
-watery diarrhea when i eat or drink, at least once every half hour.
-slight nausea but no vomiting.
-slight headache.
-very tired and weak feeling.
-slight fever and some sweating.

the main thing is the diarrhea, but i haven't thrown up yet.
how can i get rid of this quickly? i don't have time to be sick right now!

i've had this for about 3 days.

It sounds like you have some form of the stomach flu. If you've already had it for 3 days, it shouldn't be too much longer before you are feeling better. If it lasts longer than 5 days, I would go see a doctor to be sure it is not something more serious.

It depends on how long you are talking about . Are you talking hours, a couple of days or weeks and months. If it is short iived then it has to run its course. You can take natural charcoal tablets found in the health food stores than can help. but if it is long lasting you really need to get to the bottom of it, no pun intended.

Possibly a bacterial infection since you have the frequent diarrhea. It sounds like you have not gone to get checked, I suggest you do. In the meantime go get some pedialyte for the electrolytes and drink it.

well it sounds like the stomache flu,but it could be other things too, dont let this go on to long.make sure you drink lots and lots of fluid.try drinking 7up for nausea.or a cup of broth.try to stay away from milk till it clears up....but remember if you dont get better soon,or if it gets any worse go to the doctor.hope you feel better

There is a flu going around in our part of the country (Iowa) that can last 24 hrs, 3 days or 2 weeks. Had to send my daughter to the doctor yesterday and he prescribed diphenoxylate/atrophine tablets for the diarrhea. He told her to drink a lot especially fluids with electrolytes. Otherwise, he told her to let it run its course. Not much comfort, I know, but maybe it will only last the 3 days. Make sure you do not get dehydrated.
