Baby diaper rash..?

My baby's rash keeps comming back, I tryed everything, now I'm trying aloe vera gel. Is it possible, that foods cause the rash? Couple of months ago I saw that he has rash after eating yogurt with fruit, or apple juice, so I stopped giving it to him, now I gave him some yogurt, ecause he likes it, and the rash is back, its a red, burned looking diaper rash. I dont know what to do,but I know it hurts him. :(( No more yogurt !!!

My granddaughter did the same and we took her to the Dr.
They found it not to bediaper rash, but instead it was a yeast type infection that is caused by some diapers.( This is not the same yeast infection most women get.) See your doctor, if this is the case he will need to take some medicine, and cahnge the types of diapers or wipes you use.

ok have u tried changing pampers ?? sometimes disposable pampers cause rashes. Try cloth diapers and try changing ur baby's pamper sooner. They get rashes faster if they are pooping kind of watery even if u change them within minutes. Also try taking ur baby a bath with some baking soda. That should help.

Check that he isnt too wet inside his diaper for any length of time, The acid in urine can burn and cause rashes, also possible to get rashes from sweating and the skin not being able to air itself. Perhaps try changing diaper brand?

Putting a barrier on his bum every diaper change may not only help get rid of the rash but may also prevent it from coming back. I used zinc cream with all 4 of my kids and it did wonders. Allergies may be a cause but that's a tough one too cause there are so many things babies like to eat. Can he get an allergy test? Also try to leave his bum to air dry for as long as possible a couple times during the day and perhaps an unscented wipe or plain wet face cloth to wash his bum for when he soils.

Yes alot of foods can cause that! Just try to keep them dry! It is just a part of having a baby! As they get a little older it gets less frequent! It hurts them so much! I hated it when mine got it! I used that A&D oinmnet on it! GOOD LUCK! bye

You need to change your child's diaper as soon as it is wet or dirty. Wash and dry your babies bottom well. you need not use any cream or powder if the skin is clear. Since a rash is already there use Balmex cream for diaper rash until it clears

You might want to take him to the doctor. My son was 14 months before the doctor found out that dairy products were causing a rash on him. A@D ointment is very good for diaper rash and you can get it at your local Walmart.

You've probably tried zinc oxide? It is the main ingredient in Desitin, and it can be purchased in generic for less money.

I used that with all of my babies. I also let them air out once in awhile, just take the diaper off for awhile. A nice cool/warm bath is helpful, too. Take a bunch of toys in there and let them play in the water for awhile while you stay in there and watch them of course. That cool water really helps a lot.

I have twins, and I get the same problem with my baby girl. The best thing to do at this point, is to apply hydrocortisone ointment 01%, and Desitin the original diaper cream rash on top of it, no more than twice a day the hydrocortisone. Remember to wash every time you change him, do not use wipes, it makes it worse. Also yogurt can cause constipation, while apple juice causes diarrhea. It could also be the fact that your baby teething, even though you didn't mention his age. I know every time my baby teethes, her rash gets worse. Hope I have been useful.

Desitin, corn starch, and other things available at your local grocer can help. It is possible (as someone said) that your child is allergic to his or her diapers - it is also possible that he or she is allergic to some type of food.

yes some foods could cause the rash. get some Argo corn starch. and put it on like powder. it really works and is inexpensive.
