Help? Baby has fiberglass diaper rash! Sitters husband works construction & showered in same tub as babybath? |
Baby has terrible diaper rash now all of a sudden and she thinks it is from fiberglass in the tub after her husband showered after construction job- baby is very uncomfortable and keeps trying to pull at her diaper- I have been putting neosporin & diaper rash ointment- what else can I do? Please help- thank you The baby needs to see a doctor if the rash is due to fiberglass. Fiberglass is needle like splinters of glass and can cause serious problems. I would call the doctor on that. If you think there is a possibility of fiberglass, I would call the doctor! Dear concern mom. I know its everyones least favorite answer...but if another bath (somewhere clear of fiber glass) and then different creams seems to make no difference, i have to say go to a doctor. While fiberglass is far from life threatening (just really anyoing) you don't want baby getting any infections. The doctor may have a stronger cream that will protect from infection until baby feels better. Good luck take your baby to the |
