Know any good home remedies for diaper rash? |
My little guy (17 moths old) had got a horrible diaper rash. I suspect its because he is teething pretty bad, and it is hot as Hades over here. I used a little Balm-ex which is zinc oxide after each diaper change to help prevent diaper rash, it is good because unlike other diaper creams you don't have to practically rub it off to remove it. Aveno makes an oatmeal bath and that works great! Soak his little behind in it twice a day. Should clear up in a day or two. I agree with kissy balm ex is the bomb for diaper rash . very good product. my little boy was allerigic to disposible diapers, so we had to cloth, the best thing for a diaper rash i've found to be is A&D ointment w/powder after every change, or to clear it up faster use corn starch, it really does work. good luck to you , hope he gets to feeling better Try Vaseline. |
