Being 19 and wearing a diaper unfortunately, what is the best diaper rash goo I can use?

I am 19 male and I keep getting rashes around where the diaper elastic part goes around my inner thigh. When I urinate it seems like the sweat and heat flare up a rash and makes a bad infectious smell.

Can I get any goo to put on to prevent these diaper rashes. My mom said I have to wear diapers untill I am better but ive been wearing them since I was born.

Sounds like a yeast type infection. Try Lotrimin AF, you'll find it over by the jock itch creams and sprays.

For typical diaper rash, (which does not smell bad), try A&D ointment, usually over by the baby diaper supplies.

I sorry and I do hope you get better. I would suggest some A&D oriment. It should help.

A&D Original ointment is probably best, but any petroleum based product would probably protect your skin well enough to prevent the rash. You should wear the protection before you get a rash. It is easier to prevent rashes than it is to cure them.
