My 15 month old has little blisters on her lips and a diaper rash?

she has been gagging out of nowhere the past couple of days i didn't think much of it i just thought her throat was dry then she did this morning and threw up a little bit which concerned me, and she has been acting like she is trying to take something out of her mouth but there is nothing there, now i just noticed she has little sores all over her lips and now she has a really bad looking diaper rash, her doctor is closed and i dont want to take her to the ER in a snow storm @ night unless it's something serious, what does this sound like? she is acting fine and eating fine. here is a pic i tried to get a pic of them u can see a couple of them a little bit

HI Rainey

Here are some testimonials on how to heal the issue. I would also check for allergies. Starting with milk or any other dairy product. Most products have chemicals that are not very favorable to humans (especially chinldren).

Best of health to you

This sounds like a thrush infection which needs to be treated immediately. It could also spread and make her tongue and throat swell up which may affect breathing. The rash will be insanely itchy so do your child a favour and take it to the doctor now.

Poor baby.

My first guess is thrush which is yeast. This can take form of a diaper rash and also in the mouth. I had thrush as a teen which I got out of no where. It was HORRIBLE. My tongue was covered with yucky yellow thick stuff and it also got in the corner of my mouth and lips. It hurt to eat and I'd gag a lot because the thrush was going down the back of my tongue. This can also be painful as the thrush areas would crack and sometimes bleed.

My second guess is cold sores. My son broke out with these when he was about your daughters age. They started out small and went around his lips and tongue. Very painful too.
