Maybe you should let his doctor take a look at it. What may appear to be diaper rash could be something else that may not respond to home treatment.

See your pediatrician. Could be infected, needs to be treated immediately.

If there's open sores that are oozing, he needs to see the doctor to get a prescription cream.

corn starch

Corn starch always worked for me

go to his peditrician if you haven't already. If you already did do what he told you and call him up or go back.

Go to the doctor!

My first born had really sensitive skin. His was bad like that too and I changed his diapers constantly. The only thing that got rid of it was a prescription. Remember, if these are open sores and they are getting urine, etc. on them, it could cause an infection (which may be what is happening). I'd take him to the doctor right away.

Yikes! Why haven't you taken him to the doctor yet? It could be an infection.

Let him go without a diaper for a while if you can. You didn't say how old he is so I don't know how often he goes. If you can't, use diaper rash cream on the skin and change him every hour whether he's soiled or not. Get some sensitive skin wipes, too. And schedule an appointment with your pediatrician ASAP!

Leave his diaper off as much as possible. Use rash creams like fissan paste. see a doctor if it doesn''t improve

I have 3 kids same problem I put yeast infection cream on it. It workes really does i used on all 3 of my kids it is like a yeast infection. I took my son to the Dr. she said to do this saved me some money.

Go to your pharmacy and ask for an ointment called calmoseptine. It works like a prescription. If you can't find it, Zinc Oxide is good, also Gold Bond Powder is amazing. Your doctor can also prescribe an ointment for you. Calmoseptine comes in a short white jar, the ointment is pink.

sounds serious if it is open skin, go to doc. For regular rashes of any kind on anyone any where, use Dr. Boudreaux's Butt Paste. Seriously, I know it is available at Walgreens probably CVS too. It even works on acne!

Go to the drugstore and ask for Black and White Ointment Skin Protectant. My mom used it on me, my brothers, and grandkids it really works.
