What is the best ointment for a baby diaper rash?

A&D ointment.

Balmex is the bomb!!! It will clear it up quick.

aveeno..is the best and it clears it up really fast...almost instantly

Tripple Paste works the best for my son. It is sort of expensive but you can buy it in most supermarkets or drug stores.

I would use A & D as a proventive measure, if you child is just starting to get diarrhea then I used A & D to provent diaper rash from happening.

Balmex or Desitin

Neither smell good, but they work good!

Numark or any brand ...Zinc and Castor Oil Cream,recommended for use when changing babies nappies.

I got this remedy from a nurse that works in the NIC unit at the hospital......I promise it works wonderfully.........

1 tube of Hydro cortisone cream
1 tube of desitin
1 tube of anti fungal cream.....

mix them all in a small container...(Tupperware) and use it......something about the combination of the 3 working together clears a rash quickly and always use cornstarch after each diaper change as well.......

You can buy those creams in a generic form at wal-mart.......

There's this stuff used on cows utters called Bag Balm. It comes in a green tin and is absolutely AMAZING!!! My daughter had really bad diaper rash and it cleared it up within a couple hours. Its hard to find, but WalMart does sell it, its in the pet section.
