Can I use aloe vera plant on my baby's diaper rash? If I cut the leafe it won't die?

Aloe vera plant gel is very good for a diaper rash, I've also used it quite often for minor burns, it really soothes the burn and helps it to heal faster.

If you have a plant at home, then cut off no more than you need, the sap of the plant goes a good way for coverage. Don't cut too many leaves off the plant or it will kill the plant, better to have several plants around and just take a piece of the leaf as you need it, once you have taken the whole leaf then go to the next plant as a source. Doing this will give each plant time to recover.

It's good that you want to try something natural and not full of chemicals on your baby.

Good luck.

Yes it will help the rash. Just don't cut ALL the leaves off the plant or it will die. It can spare some leaves not all of them.

yes u can.......just cut a small piece off and ull have enought.......a aloe vera plant will heal its self very well

yes the aloe would probably work even better than A&D ointment and the plant will be fine :) you could even cut a piece off and start a second plant if you want (for a backup)

Cut the leaves closest to the bottom of the plant. Lightly "sautee" the leaf after peeling it, let it cool & apply the most liquid part to the rash.

Use Desitin. It provides a waterproof barrier and helps heal the rash. Change the baby as soon as he gets wet.

I wouldn't recommend using anything but diaper rash creme on his/her butt.
