My infant has a rash in her diaper area and has blisters under her tounge. anyone know what this is? |
she is 20 months old and yesterday i noticed like really red spots on her tounge, it alomst looked as if she was bleeding but then i looked again later and they were like blisters or sores on the bottom of her tounge, and she has red bumps all over in her diaper area, are they related and what is it? and how can i get rid of it? she is constantly in the doctors office since birth and if it is nothing i really dont want to take her back there...please help In this case it is best to at least call and explain it to a nurse. Most times they would prefer it so that you don't come in for nothing. I would call a clinic and see what they have to say. im so sorry um not sure bring him or her to a doc to see just call the dr and ask for a nurse, she will tell you if you should come in or not. You need to call her pediatrician about that. Please dont let too many prior frequent trips to the doctor deter you from taking her for other new issues. I have no idea what it is. Just please take her to the doctor incase its something serious. The blisters in her mouth sounds like thrush...it may also be thrush or nappy rsh in the nappy area.Use sudafed on her bottom and it may be better. It could be a reaction to something she's swallowed or put in her mouth. Watch cleaning soaps, like all purpose cleaners. They can do this. Some fruits have a high acid content, like pineapple, kiwi, or mango. Those can also cause a reaction. she has eaten something she is allergic too this explanes both wach her and see if it gets better if not go to the docter Sounds like thrush, a common yeast infection. You will have to call the doctor and describe the symptoms, and they will want to see her to prescribe the treatments. Sorry to hear of this, it's terrifying and unnerving to have a baby who needs a lot of medical care. COULD BE CANDIDIASIS. BRING HER TO HER PEDIATRICIAN AT ONCE! Change her diet. Take away as many acidic/salty foods as you can. She might have too much acid in her body...... They sound kinda related... the rash in the diaper area could be just diaper rash but then the tongue spots... gaaahhh idk and if she was in and out of the hospital.. there could be something serious... i'm sorry to say this but bring her back there, it could be something or it could be nothing but if you bring her to the doctors and its something aren't u glad u went.... and if you bring her to the doctors and it is nothing then aren't u glad u know =D idk i think ur baby should get check out though.. it sounds serious! Sorry, but you NEED to take her back to the doc's. The "Diper Rash" is caused from her being in a soild diper too long and the spots on her toung are called "Thrush" its caused from people with dirty mouths kissing her on the mouth or by putting unclean bottles or passafiers in her mouth....you will need to take her to the doctor to clear up the thrush...her bottom will need to stay out of a diper and keep cornstarch or desitin on it to help heal it somewhat...keep an eye on her diper and you won't have that problem..I am quite blunt...but the way I see it is its not about you and your feelings its about your child's health... |
