1 Year old with red cheeks, rash/blisters on her legs/diaper area and cries constantly? |
My 1 year old developed a rash on her diaper area, legs, and hands that alternates between looking like a rash and having tiny blisters. she also has red cheeks and seems to be constantly crying, we have no idea what's wrong with her. any ideas? Web MD has a symptom checker on it that I have found very useful! Sounds like eczema, but only her pediatrition can tell you for sure. If she is crying a lot she's obviously uncomfortable. Get her in to see her doctor. Call the doctor or take her in immediately She needs to see a doctor as soon as possible. RUN to the doctor. Could be chicken pox or shingles. They are both caused by the same virus. Maybe roseola...Has she had a fver recently with no other symptoms? If so, this could be it. Go to the doctors NOW. I have no idea why mums with sick kids ask questions on Yahoo when they should be taking their kids to get medical help. go to a damn doctor seriously, it could be serious and ur asking people on Yahoo Answers! you could take her to the dermatologist. I have eczema and I use aveeno baby lotion you can find at the baby section of target. It sounds like ti could be infantigo or foot and mouth disease (not the one cows get). I think you too need to call the Dr. Good Luck! Your child has allergies, hurry and get her tested, my grandson is allergic to cats, and peanuts and had all the same symptoms, we were told that he could go into Anaphylactic shock and it could kill him. cat dander is everywhere even if you don't have a cat, your family and friends can carry it on there clothes into your house, or you could pass someone in the mall that has cat dander on them. check it out asap just in case. call a doctor I will give you this site so that you can decide whether to rule this out or not. If so seek medical attention http://kidshealth.org/parent/infections/... Could be the beginning of a childhood illness like chicken pox, Scarletina, if she has a fever, that should be it... so you're gonna have to take her to the Doctor or a free clinic/general hospital... otherwise her urine (acid) is staying too long in contact with her skin and you'll have to clean it all gently, and then coat with Vaseline and then baby powder on top of that. change her more often too. The hands part is what gets us...could be she touched something she is allergic to also... the red cheeks part could be that she is cutting teeth too which can cause a slight fever as well.. Poor thing! no wonder she's crying! Good luck! You should take her to the doctors. They will need to see it, before anyone can tell what is wrong. She could be allergic, or even have some kind of infection. Don't wait, you need some peace and quiet. http://www.skincarephysicians.com/eczema... it sounds like "5th disease" or more comonly known as "slap cheek". That explains the fussiness and red cheecks . I would take her to the pediatrician to be sure however |
