Do dialysis technicians get to learn phlebotomy too?

I am about to get hired with this dialysis company called Fresenius Medical Care. Their training course is 11 weeks long. I've also been interested in phlebotomy, but the dialysis was a little more fascinating to me. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone worked for this company or other dialysis companies that could tell me if phlebotomy is taught during dialysis training.

The curriculum likely varies depending on who's doing the teaching. But comprehensive training in dialysis should indeed include phlebotomy.
Even though most of the patients will have embedded ports, a dialysis tech would have to recognize when one wasn't working right, and could have to start an IV or draw blood for labs.
