Dialysis curiosities? |
Is there anyone on Dialysis here? i know someone who was on hemodialysis for about 5 years. she passed away a few years ago. the first website really helped her. My brother was dx w/ Glomerulonephritis in 1985 when he was 15. He has been on dialysis since 1986, almost 21 years now. He had 2 transplants, both rejected. He tried home dialysis, but was unsuccesful due to infection. Hope keeps him alive..dont give up! Report It my husband was on dialysis (hemo) for over 2 years until he got his transplant. it always made him very tired and had no energy at all. My sister-in-law works for a company that does Kidney Dialysis. They are talking about adding a 3rd shift. So many people need this here! |
