Can kidney dialysis cause seizures? |
My wife done six weeks of kidney dialysis, and started having low blood preasure and seizures. At this time her doctor stopped the dialysis. She went two months without dialysis then got a kidney transplant 10-30-07. just before the transplant she was taken off the seizure medication. she went two months seizure free,no seizure medication, started having them again at the end of December. Can this be a result of something gone wrong with dialysis? Perhaps she didn't need dialysis to start with. She still had some kidney function. They took care of her for two months from when dialysis stopped until her transplant.if you can help i need info thanks. Ok. It is impossible to say anything for certain ever. In general Seizures are not a known complication of Dialysis, even if it's done unneccesarily. |
