How many hours is dialysis treatment is supposed to be taken daily?

As a person that took dialysis for 7 yrs then I will tell you first hand that if you kidney disease is really bad then it will probably be 4 hours a day for 3 days a week. Over time though as the doctors monitor your situation then they may cut your time by 30 minutes at a time. Also if I may suggest if you are going to be trying for a transplant then I would recommend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. I hope that this information will help.
